Graduation of A new Batch of Students of the Arabic Language Program at SU

Last week, the Language Center of Sohar University celebrated the graduation of a new batch of international students studying the Arabic Language Program for Non-Arabic Speakers at Sohar University for the 2017/18 academic year.
The celebration included a welcome speech by the participating students, in which they appreciated the role of the Language Center and Sohar University in serving Arabic language for Non-Arabic speakers students and providing the scientific environment for them to achieve their goals. The students also presented performances and songs in Arabic as well as Omani folklore paintings.
More than 30 students of different nationalities, such as Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese, graduated this semester. The graduation ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Muqbali, Pro. Vice Chancellor for Community and Engagement, the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Arts, some faculty members and students and a number of the Omani students accompanying the international students.
It is worth mentioning that the graduated students spent two semesters at the University, starting from September 2017 until the end of April 2018.
